Carnforth Conservative Club - A breath of fresh air
Congratulations are in order to the committee of the Club for its remarkable overhaul. They have escaped the nostalgia of smoke and steam to provide plush decor and comfortable surroundings rivalling any other social establishment in the town.
Businessmen, workers and the new generation join in a thriving environment for pleasure and social banter in time honoured tradition.
Membership costs less than a couple of gallons of fuel - for which you can partake in various events, enjoy cheap refreshment, have a game of snooker on a separate floor, or just sit by the window and take in one of the best town views.
It is also worth noting that small meetings could take place in a corner
- free from squalling kids, dirty plates and sticky tables.
Well done Staff and Committee!
